CineConcerts en Cinema in Concert brengen de epische film “Gladiator” op groot scherm met de soundtrack live gebracht door een symfonieorkest, koor en de enige echte Lisa Gerrard. Ze won een Golden Globe voor haar werk aan de filmmuziek voor ‘Gladiator’ met Hans Zimmer. Wij kunnen niet wachten om Lisa Gerrard en haar ontroerende stem eindelijk live te mogen ervaren!

Gladiator, de veelbekroonde film van Ridley Scott uit 2000, betekende de legendarische terugkeer van de sandalen- en avonturenfilm in Hollywood. De originele versie van Gladiator zal geprojecteerd worden op groot scherm, met Nederlandstalige ondertiteling en geluidseffecten, maar zonder de muzikale begeleiding. De bekroonde soundtrack wordt namelijk live en perfect synchronisch met de originele muziek uitgevoerd door het Noordpool Orkest, het Nederlands Concertkoor en Lisa Gerrard.
Maar liefst 140 personen zullen het podium betreden: topmusici en koorleden die zorgen voor een uniek samenspel tussen de epische filmscènes en één van de succesvolste soundtracks uit de filmgeschiedenis!

Music played live by
The Noordpool Orkest consists entirely of professional musicians and has played with soloists such as Douwe-Bob, Waylon, Ellen ten Damme and Bert Visscher. They performed on the main-stage of Pinkpop and are opening this year's North Sea Jazz Festival. In 2019 they existed for 10 years and performed in theater halls with our Love Actually in Concert shows.
